For peace you know

The PM’s security detail should have put a few bullets in his ass for this stunt. Set an example to the rest of the lunatics.
Wade Christian McDonald, 36, from inner-city Highgate, represented himself in the Perth Magistrates Court today, pleading guilty to one count each of disorderly conduct and damaging property. Police allege he threw himself on the bonnet [of Prime Minister John Howard's car] and grabbed hold of the decorative Australian flag. McDonald today accepted responsibility for his actions.

"There is no dispute I was there and I played a role on the day," McDonald told the court. "There was a lot of anger on the day, there is a war going on." He said he had "rested his backside" on the bonnet and held onto the flag.
It seems Mcdonald has a history of demanding peace using violence and violently opposing those who hold views to different to his.
McDonald has five previous convictions, two for "similar circumstances", including a 1997 incident with then Education Minister Amanda Vanstone. In 1998, he was also involved in an incident at a protest with the then One Nation leader Pauline Hanson.

In sentencing, the magistrate, Steven Heath, gave McDonald credit for pleading guilty at the first opportunity. "Put the message across but without jeopardising the right of everyone to protest," Mr Heath told McDonald.

He fined McDonald $600 and ordered him to pay court costs of $111. He also said McDonald had to pay $500 for repairs to Mr Howard's car.

That’s it, $1211 for a repeat offender, isn’t this fellow supposed to be an example for the rest of us peasants, rule of law and all that.

They should have taken him out the back and thrashed his backside so he would refrain from resting it anywhere anytime soon.
