Meanwhile

Over in the “Democratic republic”, uncle Kim is getting a bit trigger happy. Perhaps he's feeling left out.
An unprovoked North Korea fire shots at a South Korean outpost on Monday, in clear violation of the armistice treaty, the Joint Chiefs of Staff said yesterday.

No damage or casualties were reported on the South side. Two bullets were found in the wall of a general outpost boiler room, reports said.

At around 7:35 p.m., North Korea fired up to three shots at the South Korean outpost just 2 kilometers from the Demilitarized Zone near the armistice line. The South responded by firing six shots back.
Roughly translated, throw over 10 stones, I’ll send back 20, would you like to go again ... I didn't think so.
