Pop buffoon joins PETA to shaft Aussie farmers

American pop star Pink is leading a gruesome new global campaign against Australian wool. The outspoken American singer has joined with US animal rights activists in calling for consumers worldwide to boycott products made with Australian wool.

The campaign, accompanied with images of sheep having their throats cut and undergoing the controversial mulesing technique, was strategically launched in the important Christmas gift-giving season.

Apparently Pink is doing the narration in the video and, I hope you are sitting down for this; the video will contain graphic images of sheep having their throats slit. Well how the hell does this fool want the sheep to be killed then, do they really think lamb and steak come from the butchery or are they proposing lethal injection or the gas chamber for the animals.

She also has a bit of a whine about the live export of sheep to the Middle East, remember a while back we saw a documentary on 60 minutes about Aussie cattle being treated cruelly in Egypt, from what I remember, I think that story fell apart as soon as the credits were being rolled when farmers, who actually deal with livestock, got on the phone. A worrying fact about PETA from Wool is Best, who supposedly care for Animals, that Pink seems to have overlooked.

In 2003 PETA killed over 85 percent of the animals it took in, finding adoptive homes for just 14 percent. By comparison, the Norfolk SPCA found adoptive homes for 73 percent of its animals and the Virginia Beach SPCA adopted out 66 percent.

They have info on why the mulesing technique is necessary, and also alternatives to mulesing being developed by funding from the wool industry, but let’s not let facts get in the way of a fool having a good whine.

Perhaps it’s too hard for Pink to understand that Muslims in the Middle East will only buy the animals live, so they can slaughter them according to their religion, halaal and all that. But don’t expect Pink and PETA to ask Muslims to modernize; no that would require a bit of spine, much easier to kick the Aussie farmer in the crotch.

Incase any of our stupid leftist readers are unaware, Pink and her new friends PETA aren’t going to be fund-raising to ensure our farmers are not out of pocket if they tell the Muslims in the Middle East to shop elsewhere.

I had a look at her official website; I found a list of organisations for the usual lefty pet-causes in the “Save the world” section. Among them, a link for Planned Parenthood, so I had a look at their website where they proudly announce they prevent 617000 unwanted births annually.

I hope our Australian “Pink” fans will note that she is all for the welfare of the sheep, but shafting our farmers and killing unborn babies is fair game. She is touring Australia in April next year; perhaps we could boycott her product.
