Tampa, Schmampa

LABOR has demanded Prime Minister John Howard explain why he barred the Tampa from entering Australian waters six years ago, after he had received advice that such action was illegal.

Explain why? Simple, simpletons. Because Tampa was in international waters and the closest port of call was in f*cking Indonesia, which, according to international maritime law, is where it should have been headed, and for that very reason (because Indonesia was the closest port of call - check your maritime law, and see).

Fact is, Tampa was a victim to an act of Piracy on the High Seas, and why even one of the so-called ‘refugees’ who committed that crime is still in this country is an absolute wonder to me.

Yet another reason, in flashing lights, why the ALP cannot be trusted to run our country.
